HiTHIUM Energy Storage Technology BD Ltd. is committed to providing the highest quality energy storage products and professional after-sales services to customers across Bangladesh. To ensure smooth, timely, and consistent service delivery, certain policies, rules, and procedures must be followed.
We kindly request all valued customers to carefully read these Terms & Conditions before purchasing or using any HiTHIUM product.
1. General Policy
HiTHIUM Energy Storage Technology BD Ltd. is the official company responsible for operating and managing HiTHIUM energy storage products in the Bangladesh region.
All warranty, service, and return policies follow the official standards and guidelines of the HiTHIUM brand.
Products eligible for warranty and service must be purchased through:
• HiTHIUM Energy Storage Technology BD Ltd.
• HiTHIUM-authorized dealers or partners
• Official HiTHIUM Bangladesh sales channels
Products purchased from unauthorized sellers may not qualify for warranty or service support.
2. Warranty Policy
Warranty applies only to products for which an official warranty period has been declared by HiTHIUM.
HiTHIUM Energy Storage Technology BD Ltd. provides warranty support and service management for customers within Bangladesh in accordance with the brand’s official warranty policy.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects only.
The warranty does not cover physical damage, misuse, negligence, improper installation, or unauthorized repairs.
The warranty period varies depending on the product type:
Energy Storage Batteries
Typically up to 5 years (depending on model specification)
Hybrid / Off-Grid Inverters
Typically 2 to 5 years, depending on the specific model and brand
Accessories
(Cables, connectors, BMS modules, etc.) may have shorter or limited warranty coverage
Certain consumable parts such as fuses, external wiring, and accessories may not be covered under warranty.
For products marketed with “Lifetime Warranty”, the term refers to the commercial life of the product model. If a model is discontinued or declared End of Life (EOL) by the manufacturer, lifetime warranty support will remain available for a maximum period of two (2) years after discontinuation, in accordance with common industry practice.
3. Replacement & Repair
If a product develops a manufacturing defect during the warranty period:
• HiTHIUM will first attempt to repair the unit.
• If repair is not possible, the unit may be replaced with the same model or an equivalent product of similar value.
• If neither repair nor replacement is possible, depreciation may be applied, and the customer may be offered an upgrade to a higher model with price adjustment.
Repair or replacement timelines may vary depending on parts availability, technical assessment, and import logistics.
Typical service timelines may range from 7 days to 40+ days.
4. Return & Refund Policy
Returns are only accepted for products with manufacturing defects identified within 24 hours of delivery.
To qualify for return:
• The product must be unused
• It must have no scratches or physical marks
• It must be returned with original packaging, accessories, and invoice
If a defect is discovered after the product has been used, the case will be processed under the warranty service policy, not under the return policy.
Where refunds apply:
• Refunds are processed within 3–10 working days
• Online payment refunds may take longer depending on the payment gateway
Any cashback or promotional discount received during purchase will be deducted from the refund amount.
Refund charges may apply for Mobile Financial Services, POS payments, or online gateway transactions.
5. Conditions Where Warranty Will Not Apply
Warranty will be void in the following situations:
• Physical damage (cracks, dents, burns, deep scratches)
• Water or moisture damage
• Unauthorized repair or modification
• Removal or damage of serial numbers or warranty labels
• Damage caused by overloading or incompatible equipment
• Incorrect installation or improper wiring
• Corrosion, fungus, or rust on terminals or connectors
• Misuse, negligence, or improper storage conditions
For inverters, warranty will not apply if damage occurs due to:
• Wrong wiring
• Reverse polarity
• Unstable or improper power supply
For batteries, warranty will not apply if:
• The product is used beyond recommended charge/discharge limits
• It is operated in extreme temperatures outside the manufacturer’s specifications.
6. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for the following:
• Keeping the original purchase invoice and warranty documents
• Presenting these documents for any warranty or service request
• Ensuring installation and operation follow HiTHIUM technical guidelines
• Using qualified or authorized technicians for installation
If applicable, customers should backup any stored data before submitting products for service, as HiTHIUM is not responsible for data loss during repair or replacement.
Customers are also advised to verify product authenticity before purchase to avoid counterfeit or unauthorized items.
7. Order Cancellation
HiTHIUM Energy Storage Technology BD Ltd. reserves the right to cancel orders under the following conditions:
• Pricing errors due to technical or typographical mistakes
• Product unavailability
• Suspected fraudulent purchase activity
In such cases, customers will be notified, and any payment received will be refunded according to the refund policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
HiTHIUM Energy Storage Technology BD Ltd. shall not be liable for:
• Loss of profit or business interruption
• Loss of data
• Indirect or consequential damages resulting from product failure
• Damages caused by third-party accessories or improper use
• Delays caused by customs clearance or international shipping processes
